Important Information
Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Check-in is after 4pm. Check-out is by 10am.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
Property Access
- Although the home offers single level living, there are 11 steps from parking area down to the home, and additional stairs to access the river. You should not plan on using this space if your mobility is limited.
- Touch of Grey is next door to Knotty Pine and they share river access through the new stone steps into the New River, located in front of Knotty Pine.
Policies and Rules
- This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No events allowed.
Fees and Payments
- Additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax (maximum 2 mature, well-trained dogs).
- Firewood for the wood stove may be added by reaching out more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night.
Parking Information
- The neighborhood road is gravel and is on a slope. You should have no trouble driving in a standard car if you are familiar with gravel; otherwise, please bring 4WD or AWD. If there is snow or ice on the ground, 4-wheel drive would be required.
- Motorcycles may not travel well on the loose gravel road.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

- This property has one exterior security camera monitoring the stairway to the main entryway and is mounted to the right of the front door above the window. No security cameras monitor the interior of the property or common gathering areas.
